ECPI is very pleased to be working with the distinguished artist Juan Diego Flórez.
Since his professional debut at age 23, Mr. Flórez has conquered stages throughout the world, causing a sensation. His very busy schedule takes him regularly to the most important lyric theaters, and his acclaimed Decca recordings have only added to his reputation.
Called “the greatest Rossini tenor of our time” by the Metropolitan Opera, Juan Diego Flórez made his house debut in 2002, generating huge ovations from the sophisticated New York audience prior even to his 30th birthday. He's since become a prominent Met artist, beloved of audiences hungry for a level of vocal artistry seldom heard anywhere. Most recently, he starred in the company's new Bartlett Sher production of The Barber of Seville, broadcast not only to radio audiences internationally but also in high-definition video throughout movie theaters in the United States. Next year Mr. Flórez returns to the Met in La Fille du régiment in what will certainly be the season's hottest ticket.
